Westminster College is one of the best colleges in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to The Princeton Review.

Westminster was listed in the Best in the Mid-Atlantic section of the education service’s “2024 Best Colleges: Region by Region” website, which recognizes 630 colleges over seven zones: the Northeast, South, Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, West and International. Five states—Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia—and Washington, D.C., make up the Mid-Atlantic region.
Schools that made the list are those that The Princeton Review deems “academically outstanding” and worthy of consideration in students’ college searches.

In its website profile on Westminster, The Princeton Review says Westminster has remained intent on crafting a personalized learning process for students and aims to turn out well-rounded individuals who “can live and affect the world around us in a positive way.” The Princeton Review noted Westminster’s “challenging liberal arts education” and its “extremely accessible and helpful” faculty.

The Princeton Review survey asks students to rate their colleges on dozens of issues and to answer questions about themselves, their fellow students, and their campus life. Comments from surveyed students are quoted in the school profiles on The Princeton Review website.

Students say that Westminster’s low student-to-faculty ratio is an advantage, and professors are devoted to student success.

Students commented that the typical Westminster student is “extremely friendly” and academically driven. The small student body allows for frequent interaction between students. And despite the small size, activities abound on Westminster’s campus with more than 100 student clubs and activities.
