RN-BSN Program (Online)
Are you a registered nurse who wants to complete your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)? Westminster College invites you to apply to its new online RN-to-BSN completion program. This program is designed with you in mind:
In as few as five semesters, you can complete an online curriculum that focuses on such topics as leadership, pathophysiology, advanced assessment, and community nursing. Westminster's outstanding nursing faculty and staff will be there when you have questions about course material or if you want to talk about the challenges you face as a professional nurse, whether you live a few miles from campus or on the other side of the country.
This is a sample schedule for a RN-BSN Completion Program student. All courses are online and asynchronous. Three program entry points are offered every year (fall, spring, and summer), so individual students' schedules will vary based on the courses offered in a specific semester. All semesters are offered with at least 12 credits to support grant, tuition assistance, and loan eligibility.
*Courses include required practice experience hours with a preceptor, an experienced practitioner who provides supervision during clinical practice and facilitates the application of theory to practice.
A minimum of 125 credits is required for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree completion. The program assumes students will enter with 69-72 transfer credits (21-24 credits from non-nursing college courses and 48 credits from nursing courses).
