At Westminster, we focus not only on students’ time in college, but also the “What comes next?” How will your path through Westminster prepare you for graduate or professional school, a first career, your first promotion, or your service and leadership within your community when you graduate? The Office of Professional Development and Community Engagement (PDCE) work with you to understand your professional aspirations and the kinds of academic and other experiences that will help you achieve those aspirations. In the PDCE, we help students:

• Identify their personal strengths that can be reflected in specific learning and project examples.
• Talk about how their liberal arts education has prepared them with desirable skills and abilities that lead to success.
• Present the ways in which their participation in athletics or student organizations has helped them develop leadership and teamwork skills.
• Leverage the Titan Network to identify valuable shadowing, internship, and career opportunities, particularly with organizations that Westminster has created formal pipelines of talent.
• Explore professional opportunities that allow them to use their majors in creative or non-traditional ways, thereby answering the question, “What could I do with a major in _____?”
