Westminster hosts Discovery Day for high school students

High school students interested in learning more about college life are invited to attend Westminster College Discovery Day on Monday, Feb. 19.
Prospective students and two guests will learn about the different academic majors offered at Westminster, meet faculty and students and explore the campus.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the day will be broken into four eventful blocks to give prospective students a taste of life at Westminster. Academic sessions will be held at 9:20 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. and feature hands-on learning opportunities and faculty and current students representing Westminster’s eight schools—Arts and Humanities, Business, Communication, Education, Life and Health Sciences, Music, Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Social Sciences.
Parents and guests will meet with a student panel, learn about financial aid opportunities and take in a show at the Westminster College Planetarium.
A complimentary lunch will be provided in Galbreath Dining and optional campus tours will be available from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
