Presidential road trip aims to connect with alumni and friends

Westminster College President Dr. Kathy Brittain Richardson will hit the road over the next several weeks to meet with alumni and friends and share the news of the College.

The spring leg of the Titan Tour with Dr. Richardson will take Westminster’s 15th president through Georgia, North Carolina and Florida beginning in February and wrapping up in April. Alumni, parents and friends who live and work the areas are invited to attend for conversation, food selections and a chance to meet Richardson.

Upcoming stops include:

  • Atlanta, Ga.: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the home of 1973 alumnus Bill Eavenson and his wife, Wendy.
  • Charlotte, N.C.: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, at the home of 1985 alumna Cindy Carle Duncan.
  • Jacksonville, Fla.: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 10367 Midtown Parkway, St. Johns Tower Center, Jacksonville.
  • Bradenton/Sarasota, Fla.: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, Esplanade at the Heights Amenity Center, 6130 Grandview Hill Court, Bradenton, Fla. Hosted by alumni couple Lyndsey Price Bartoo ’88 and Bruce Bartoo ’86.
  • Naples, Fla.: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 25, The Club at Barefoot Beach, 105 Shell Drive, Bonita Springs, Fla. Hosted by 1975 alumni couple Dave and Robin Willoughby Gooch and Bob and Sharon Bond.
