Westminster College Library Hosts “Oregon Trail” Meet and Greet

Westminster College’s McGill Library will host its second annual Oregon Trail Night for first year students from 6 - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1 in the library.

The Oregon Trail Night allows students to explore the floors of McGill library and meet the librarians in a fun and casual way. The event includes a western-themed photo booth, an obstacle course and snacks.

“This is the fifth year the library has hosted a ‘get to know’ event,” said Kate Ratvasky, technical services specialist at McGill. “It’s a fun, informal way of introducing the library and the library workers to the students.”

The event is a co-curricular activity opportunity.
