Westminster College students, faculty, alumni and staff spent an evening working alongside Wilmington Area School administrators and staff to help raise scholarship funds for Wilmington Area High School students and teachers.

The August fundraiser took place at Cedar Farm Inn in New Wilmington.

Senior educations majors, Carly Christofferson and Sarah Slonaker, volunteered with Dr. Charlene Klassen Endrizzi, professor of education, to prepare and serve food trays to those in attendance. Christofferson and Slonaker are also graduates of Wilmington Area High School.

“It was a great networking event and I enjoyed getting the opportunity to reconnect with administrators from my high school,” said Christofferson. “It was amazing to see the support that was shown for the Wilmington Area Educational Foundation.”

Westminster alumna, Jennifer Matyasovsky, manager at Cedar Farm Inn, along with George Endrizzi, Wilmington Middle School administrator, were the primary organizers and chefs for this fundraising event.
