Westminster's Accelerated Lifelong Learning Block Courses Begin in January

Accelerated Lifelong Learning courses begin Jan. 2 at Westminster College.

Evening block courses allow non-traditional students to finish two courses per semester by attending class only one night per week. Block III begins Jan. 2 and runs through March 4, while Block IV begins March 5 and runs through May 13 with an Easter break March 25-31.

Block III offers Finance on Monday, Religions from the Middle East on Tuesday, Introductory Topics in Economics on Wednesday, and Elementary Spanish II on Thursday.

Block IV offers Cost and Managerial Accounting on Monday, Foundation Drawing on Tuesday, Management Information Systems on Wednesday, Intermediate Spanish I on Thursday, and Business and Professional Communication on Saturday.

Full semester courses are also offered in the evening at Westminster College. These classes run Jan. 21-May 7. They include such courses as Cameras and Computers, Studies in French Literature and Culture, Science in Elementary School, Introduction to Criticism, English Capstone I, World Geography, The Rise of the Nation-State, Music Elementary Teachers, Logic, Public Relations Capstone, Politics of Rock and Roll, Educational Psychology, Principles of Sociology, Introduction to Acting, Shakespeare, and Journalism I and II.
