Westminster to host Christmas Celebration Worship

The public is invited to attend Westminster College’s annual Christmas Celebration Worship service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in the Will W. Orr Auditorium on the College campus.

The message, “A Silent Night,” will be shared by College Chaplain the Rev. James Mohr and will feature scripture readings by Westminster students Brianna Dunlap of Canfield, Ohio, Jonas Clark of Montgomery Village, Md., Alexandra Coker of Export, Pa., Victoria Harden of Greensburg, Pa., Anthony Kamenski of Chicora, Pa., Julie McKenzie of Verona, Pa., Alexa Ransom of Wampum, Pa., Theresa Schneider of Chardon, Ohio, and Tomi Taiwo of Pittsburgh.

Music will be provided by the Westminster Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Melinda Crawford Perttu, Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. Ryan Keeling with collaborative pianist Dr. Douglas Burn, the Lake Brittain Brass Quintet led by Dr. Timothy Winfield, and student organist Hunter Peterson ’24 of Russell, Pa.

Sponsored by the Office of Faith and Spirituality, the event is free, although a goodwill offering will be taken.
