Students inducted into criminal justice, sociology honoraries

Several Westminster College students were inducted into honorary societies for criminal justice and sociology during a special ceremony on Monday, April 15.

Students inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honorary, were:

•    Kole Alcorn, a sophomore psychology major and criminal justice studies minor from Eau Claire, Pa.
•    Ashlee Douglass, a junior psychology and criminal justice studies major from Oil City, Pa.
•    Lily Hefner, a junior honors student double majoring in molecular biology and criminal justice studies. Hefner is from Ormond Beach, Fla.
•    Christina Loewe, a junior international studies and political science major and criminal justice studies minor from Austin, Texas
•    Reaghan Wilkerson, a junior honors students double majoring in criminal justice studies and psychology. Wilkerson is from Cranberry Township, Pa.
•    Tyler Young, a junior criminal justice studies major from Punxsutawney, Pa.

Loewe was also inducted into Alpha Kappa Delta, the international sociology honorary.

The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Kristin Park, professor of sociology.
