Westminster, PA CareerLink to host workshop for high school juniors and seniors

Westminster College, in partnership with Pennsylvania CareerLink, will host a workshop, “Beyond Graduation: Exploring Your Path Forward,” from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center on Westminster’s campus.

Open to high school juniors and seniors, the workshop is designed to help high schoolers navigate the transition from high school to the next phase of their lives. The workshop aims to give students valuable insights and resources as they explore various post-graduation opportunities and options.

During the workshop, students will have the opportunity to:
•    Engage in discussions about career paths
•    Explore post-high school options such as college and community college, trade school, military service, on-the-job training, entrepreneurship and service programs
•    Learn about Pennsylvania CareerLink’s work experience and internship opportunities
•    Explore personal strategies for success and readiness for the next steps after high school through case study explorations

The evening includes dinner and will also feature a panel of opportunities with a Q&A session, allowing students to gain further insights and clarity about their future paths.

Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. Students will receive a $25 gift card for participating.
