The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of JaKobe Henry, will present an evening of jazz standards and holiday sounds at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Berlin Lounge of McKelvey Campus Center. The 19-member ensemble features saxophones, trumpets, trombones and a rhythm section.

The Westminster choirs—Westminster Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and Treble Choir—will present “Welcome All Wonders” at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert will feature music by W. A. Mozart, Rosephanye Powell, Ola Gjeilo and John Tavener. All choirs are under the direction of Dr. Ryan Keeling, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, the Westminster Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Wind Ensemble and campus carillonneurs will be featured during the College’s annual Christmas Celebration Worship Service at 4 p.m. in the Will W. Orr Auditorium. The Quintessence Strings will perform during the post-service reception in Orr Lobby.

A holiday concert and sing-along featuring student and faculty musicians will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in Berlin Lounge of McKelvey Campus Center. Organized by Kim Winfield, a member of the School of Music faculty, the concert will feature various chamber ensembles. The concert will conclude with a group sing- and play-along. All audience members are encouraged to participate and music will be provided.

All concerts are free and open to the public.
