Westminster College's Faculty Forum Begins New Year

Posted on Tuesday, August 31, 2004

Dr. Linda Domanski, assistant professor of education at Westminster College, begins the new year of the Westminster College Faculty Forum Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 11:45 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.

Domanski's talk, "Walking in Two Worlds" will examine her professional partnerships with area school districts.

"K-16 partnerships inform teacher preparation, guide the curriculum, stimulate inquiry, and provide professional development for both settings," Domanski said.

Faculty forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among Westminster College faculty.  Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.

Domanski, who has been with Westminster College since 1996, earned her undergraduate and master's degrees from Slippery Rock University, and her Ed.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
