Two Westminster College Seniors to Give Recital

Two Westminster College senior music education majors, Amber Cole and Brian Pollitt, will give a recital Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Cole's soprano voice will sing Handel's "I Know that My Redemer Liveth" from the Messiah, "Pie Jesu" from Messe de Requiem, "Tonadillas," Mozart's "Ach, ich fhl s'," Schumann's "Er, der Herrlichste von allen," and Copland's "Why Do They Shut Me Out of Heaven?"

Pollitt and his trombone will perform David's "Concertino," Debussy's "Romance," Telemann's "Sonata" and DeLuca's "Beautiful Colorado."

The program will conclude with a duet of Betty Roe's "Euphonium Dance," and will be followed by a reception in the Tower Room of Old Main.

Cole is a daughter of Robert and Starr Cole, 710 Meadow Lane, Madison, and a graduate of Yough High School.

Pollitt is a son of Howard and Barbara Pollitt, 1874 Pappas Court, Bellmore, N.Y., and a graduate of W.C. Mepham High School.
