Faculty Forum Continues at Westminster College; Information Technology and the Small College Professor

Posted on Monday, September 13, 2004

Dr. Bryan Rennie, associate professor of religion at Westminster College, will present "Information Technology, Research, Publication and the Small College Professor" Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 11:45 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.

"I will be talking about the way the information technology has served me and helped me with my publications," Rennie said.  "I will simply be using the connecting thread of information technology to talk about all that I have been doing."

Faculty forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among Westminster College faculty.  Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.

Rennie, who has been with Westminster College, earned his undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
