Westminster Crowns Homecoming King and Queen

Eugene Cunningham and Ashley "Cubbey" Linelli were crowned Westminster College homecoming king and queen during the halftime festivities Oct. 21.

Cunningham, a junior business administration major, is a son of Lorri and Eugene Cunningham, Connellsville, and a graduate of Connellsville Area High School. At Westminster he is involved in numerous organizations including men's varsity tennis, Student Alumni Association, SWAT, Campus Programming Council, Ski and Snowboard Club, Lambda Sigma, Fresh Start, and the Student Government Association.

Linelli, a junior elementary education major, is a daughter of Greg and Andrea Linelli, Canfield, Ohio, and a graduate of Canfield High School. At Westminster she is involved in organizations including the women's swim team, Newman Club, Kappa Delta Pi, and Fresh Start. Linelli is also an All-PAC second team performer in swimming, on PAC honor roll, was one of the Top Ten Freshman at Westminster, and is on Dean's List.

Winning the top spot in the "nursery rhyme" homecoming parade was Phi Mu's "Hey Diddle Diddle." Taking the second, third, and fourth place respectively, were: Alpha Gamma Delta's "Humpty Dumpty;" Zeta Tau Alpha's "Little Miss Muffet;" and Kappa Delta's "Rub a Dub Dub."
