Westminster College's Office of Diversity Services will host its annual Black History Month Celebration Friday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

The program, "Gospel Explosion," includes gospel music, with a tribute to the late Mahalia Jackson; Black History reflections; and civil rights tributes. "Gospel Explosion" has been called "one of the most exciting and entertaining gospel shows of the year."

Featured musical groups are: "S3 & The Truth," McDonald's Gospelfest 2007 award-winning choir; and Gospelfest winners "Sounds of Zion" and "God Only Knows."
