Erin Thompson, a Westminster College junior music education major, was named to the State Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Thompson, a member of Westminster's wind ensemble, concert choir, marching band, symphonic band, and flute choir, will serve as band president. She is vice president of Lambda Sigma, national sophomore honor society; and social chair of Kappa Delta sorority.

She is a daughter of Thomas and Linda Thompson of Imperial and a graduate of West Allegheny High School.
