Eleven Westminster College students recently received scholarships through The Pittsburgh Foundation.  All awards will be applied to the students' tuition for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Melissa Stasko, a freshman accounting major, received a $500 award funded by the Jack Butz Humanitarian Scholarship Fund.  She is a daughter of Stephen and Renee Stasko of New Castle and a graduate of Union Area High School.

Freshman accounting major Ryan Francis received a $1,000 award funded by the Jason Joseph Estvanik Scholarship Fund.  He is a son of Susan Francis and Scott Francis, both of Harwick, and a graduate of Springdale High School.

Caitlyn Manion, a freshman biology major, received the first payment of a $16,000 four-year scholarship funded by the George and Dorothy Knedler Scholarship Fund.  She is a daughter of Douglas and Suzy Manion of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Northgate High School.

Four seniors received scholarships from the Ann M. Kendlehart Scholarship Fund:

Accounting and financial economics major Cody Donaldson received a $3,705 award.  He is a son of Mark and Jean Donaldson of Sharpsville and a graduate of Sharpsville High School.

Philosophy and economics major Michael Gorman was awarded $3,705.  He is a son of Mary Novak of Avonmore and a graduate of Kiski Area High School.

Accounting major James Gross received a $3,705 scholarship.  He is a son of Richard and Kimberly Gross of McDonald and a graduate of McGuffey High School.

International business major Stephen Mildner was awarded $1,753.  He is a son of Robert and Diane Mildner of Ellwood City and a graduate of Lincoln High School.

Four students received awards from the William J. Wolf Memorial Scholarship Fund:

Evan Del Bene, a junior accounting major, received the third payment of a $12,000 four-year scholarship.  He is a son of Michael and Rosemary Del Bene of Bethel Park and a graduate of Bethel Park High School.

Alyssa Hanna, a senior broadcast communications major, received the final payment of a $16,000 four-year scholarship.  She is a daughter of Susan Hanna of Allison Park and Mark Hanna and a graduate of Shaler Area High School.

Sarah Mohn, a sophomore psychology major, received the second payment of a $12,000 four-year scholarship.  She is a daughter of Sherri Mohn of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School.

Chloe Stanczak, a junior early childhood education/special education major, received the third payment of a $12,000 four-year scholarship.  She is a daughter of Richard and Nancy Stanczak of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Shaler Area High School.
