Dr. Philip Fawley, professor of biology at Westminster College, will discuss the challenges of the earth's environmental future Thursday, April 7, at 7 p.m. in Phillips Lecture Hall located in the Hoyt Science Resources Center.
"In my talk, "Challenges," I will discuss the biologist's role in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term prognosis on our planet's health. I will talk about current environmental problems and the effect on society, as well as reviewing governmental policies, potential solutions, and the role of individuals in correcting this dilemma," Fawley said.
Fawley, who has been with Westminster College since 1972, earned his undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. from Kent State University.
