Chapel to Host International Peacemaker

Westminster College's Office of Faith and Spirituality will host international peacemaker Moses Mkandwire for Vespers Sunday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. and chapel service Monday, Oct. 6, at 11:40 a.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.  Services are open to the public.

Mkandwire is director for Church and Society, CCAP Synod of Livingstonia in Malawi, Africa.  He has extensive experience in election monitoring and observation in areas of southern Africa; has assisted in design and implementation of election projects in Malawi; and has written and presented papers on issues of good governance, peace and conflict areas, human rights and democracy. 

In addition to the chapel services, Mkandwire will speak with Westminster classes; visit campus and community events; and speak at the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon.
