Blake Tyger and Liz Buechele were crowned Westminster College Homecoming king and queen during halftime festivities Oct. 11.
Blake Tyger and Liz Buechele were crowned Westminster College Homecoming king and queen during halftime festivities Oct. 11.
Tyger, a junior business administration major, is a son of Jill Cummiskey, Bradford, and Richard Tyger, Lakewood, NY, and a graduate of Bradford Area High School. Campus activities for the Theta Chi representative include Student Government Association, Campus Programming Committee, Fresh Start and the sustainability committee.
Buechele, a junior communication studies major, is a daughter of Richard and Lisa Buechele of Cranberry Township and a graduate of Seneca Valley High School. The independent candidate is active in cross country, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Fresh Start, Habitat for Humanity, the Holcad student newspaper, Scrawl literary publication, Lambda Pi Eta and Mortar Board honor societies, Sexual Assault Task Force and Student Westminster Admissions Team.
Winning the top spot in the "National Holidays" Homecoming parade was Zeta Tau Alpha with National Pink Day, representing the sorority's philanthropy and supporting breast cancer awareness.
