Westminster Faculty Recital Presents "A Triplet of Trios"

Westminster College music faculty will present a recital, "A Triplet of Trios," Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

 The recital features Beethoven's "Trio in D major, Op. 70" played by Susanna Reilly on the Cello, Jonathan Moser on the violin, and Dr. Nancy DeSalvo, on the piano; Eychenne's "Cantilence et Danse" played by James Flowers on the saxophone, Moser on the violin, and DeSalvo on the piano; and Brahms' "Trio in Eb major, Op. 40" played by Robert Cole on the horn, Moser on the violin, and DeSalvo on the piano.

 DeSalvo, who has been with Westminster College since 2000, is an assistant professor of music and chair of the department.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University, her master's from the Manhattan School of music, and her D.M.A. from the Cleveland Institute of Music.

 Moser, a visiting lecturer of music at Westminster College, earned his undergraduate degree from Shenandoah University, and a master's from Arizona State University. 

 Cole, Flowers, and Reilly are part-time music faculty at Westminster College.
