Westminster Orchestra to Give Concert Nov. 2

The Westminster College Orchestra will perform in concert Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Under the direction of Dr. Paul Chenevey, the 43-piece orchestra will play the overture to Don Giovanni by Mozart, "Symphony No. 1 in C Major" by Beethoven, the march from The Love of the Three Oranges by Prokofieff, "Playful Pizzicato from Simple Symphony by Britten, "Ballet" from Petite Suite by Debussy, the prelude to La Traviato by Verdi, and "L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1" by Bizet.

Chenevey, who has been with Westminster College since 1965, earned his undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, his master's from the Eastman School of Music, and his D.M.A. from the University of Cincinnati.
