Guest Artist Organ Recital Series Continues at Westminster

Dr. Ann Marie Rigler, instructor of music at The Pennsylvania State University, will perform an organ recital Monday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Rigler will play "Homage to Perotin" by Roberts, "Unter der Lindeg gune" by Sweelinck, "Schmucke dich, o lieber Steele" by Bach, Passacaglia et thema fugtum" by Bach, "Miriam's Dance" by Martinson, "I want Jesus to Walk with Me" by Utterback, "Canzonetta" by Foote, and concert variations on "Austrian Hymn" by Paine.

Rigler, who works at the University Park campus, teaches applied organ as well as music appreciation, and also serves as reference librarian. She has also taught at Wayne State College in Nebraska, the University of Northern Iowa, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Simpson College. Rigler earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University, her master's from the University of Illinois, and her D.M.A. from the University of Iowa.
