The School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences is composed of the Department of Biochemistry & Chemistry, the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science and the Department of Physics. The programs in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences give students a wide range of pursuits to explore and master. Whether it’s exploring the inner workings of cells or the cosmic motions of galaxies, deriving and proving abstract theorems, or modeling and creating new materials for a sustainable future, students can find the coursework, teaching expertise and mentorship to achieve their goals.
In addition, the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences promotes the inter-connectedness of all the sciences, from the cross-disciplinary course requirements in all majors to the ability for students to create their own personalized majors.
