Field Station Bridge Ribbon Cutting

All alumni and friends are invited to join us for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new bridge to the Field Station. The bridge made possible, in part, by gifts in memory of Floyd J. Zehr and Robert E. Ross, creates a new, safer connection between the field station and campus.

Each year the Alumni Association recognizes alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their communities, professions, and Westminster. This year we will honor the following alumni with the Alumni Citation Award: Helen Boylan-Funari ’95, Dennis Schotsch ’75 and Courtney Behm ’01. Justin Wilson ‘18 will receive the Outstanding Young Alumni Award and Gia Francisco ’25 will be the Rising Titan Award recipient. We encourage you to attend this special dinner honoring these recipients. Advanced reservations are required.

Game Day Broadcasting Information


The Westminster Cable Network (WCN) will telecast the Homecoming game vs. St. Vincent live on cable television over Armstrong (Ch. 72, New Wilmington; Ch. 204, Grove City) and Comcast (Ch. 183, New Castle) Cable systems. The event will also appear live online and on mobile smart devices at www.wcnlive.com, and will be archived for later on-demand viewing at https://vimeo.com/wcn247/videos.

Titan Radio will broadcast the Homecoming game live as well. Listeners can tune to 88.9 FM on the FM dial, listen online at www.titanradiolive.com , or listen on mobile devices using the FREE Titan Radio app for Apple and Android, and also through Amazon Alexa by simply saying, "Alexa, play Titan Radio".

Both stations will have related programming all that morning leading up to our live coverage from Burry Stadium, which will begin at 12:45 p.m. the day of the game.

Tailgate Statement


Westminster College is pleased to allow tailgating in the Titan Corridor before games and meets. The following guidelines should be followed. Please note that violation of these policies may result in removal from the campus.

  • Space for tailgating is limited.
  • Use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited, according to campus policy.
  • All tailgaters are responsible for proper disposal of their trash and other debris.
  • No open fires are permitted.
  • No animals are allowed in Burry Stadium or Memorial Field House except for service animals specifically trained to aid people with disabilities.
  • Please be respectful of others around you, including those who may not be attending the competitions. Everyone is expected to be courteous and refrain from the use of loud and/or abusive language, raucous behavior, and amplified sound.

 

Campus Alcohol and Tobacco Statement


Please remember alcohol and illicit drugs are prohibited on the grounds of Westminster College. There shall be no use, possession, sale, or serving of alcoholic beverages while on or in College property. This policy applies to all members of the College community as well as to guests and visitors to our campus. Also, smoking is prohibited at Burry Stadium and Memorial Field House as well as at all varsity outdoor athletic venues. Public Safety will be enforcing each of these restrictions.
